A Dialogue on Soul, Atman (aathma)

Disciple:  Master, I'm worried of my death.  If I'm to die, why should I be born?

Master: You never die. You're Atman. To realise this, you are born again and again.

Disciple: What is Atman?

Master: Atman is what you really are.  Your inner self,  your true self, the soul, the deathless one.

Disciple:  You mean, Atman is deathless?

Master : Yes.  It's imperishable, eternal, everlasting.

Disciple:  Why is it deathless?

Master: Since it's formless.  You can destroy only that which has a form, not Atman.

Disciple: The other day, you told me, God is formless.  Today you say, Atman is formless.  How can there be two formless things? It's against science and logic.

Master: Yes.  There's only one that is formless in the the universe and the beyond.  God is the Whole.  Atman is the part of the Whole.  God is water.  The pond, pool, well, river and cloud are Atman.  Atman is a part of Paramatman, God.

Disciple: You mean, Atman and God are the same?

Master: Yes.  The identification of your inner self with the universal self is the objective of your birth.  That is the meaning of Nirvana, Moktcha, Enlightenment, Samadhi, Veeduperu, mukthi, salvation, liberation and all.

Disciple: What about this body?  What's its relation to Atman.

Master: The body is the house where you live in.  The resident is Atman.  The body is the vessel.  The essence is Atman.  The pot is body.  Milk is Atman.  When the house becomes old, unfit to live,  the resident vacates the house and finds another house to live in, the rebirth.  Those who attain self-realisation, the enlightenment can't born through a womb again.

Disciple: What happens exactly to my Atman when I die?

Master:  It leaves your body with a genetic imprints of all your experiences and knowledge gained through this life and the previous ones.  It hovers above the earth, waiting for the right time to be born through a womb.

Disciple: If all the dead people are reborn, only the same number of people must be on the earth.  Then, how did the population increase?

Master:  The more the desires are, the more bodies and the more lives Atman needs.  Some desires arise in a second, but needs thousands of years to get fulfilled. Atman may be born even through the same womb several times, as your brothers and sisters.

Disciple: Can I talk to a dead soul? If so, how?

Master: Yes. Through a living person, functioning as a medium? I will explain it in detail later.

Disciple: How does Atman choose a body for it to be reborn?  How many years will it take?

Master:  Only the soul of the enlightened one like Buddha can enter into the matching body of a living person who is enlightened.  Other souls have to build a body for themselves according to their karmas only in a mother's womb.  It waits for the right time in the same way a seed is waiting to become a tree.

Disciple: Will it be born as a human being or as an animal too?

Master: Only evolution, not the reverse, is possible.  Human soul with specific karma will never choose an animal body.

Disciple: Is it possible to think that there is no Atman in my body and it is only an imaginary term since I find no evidence?

Master: Who built your body with a particular design?  Who is behind the function of your body?  Who converts your food into blood and flesh?  Atman is invisible but it is manifest in your very appearance, thoughts, words and deeds.  To deny Atman is to deny yourself.   The unified force, spiritually recognized as paramatman is the source of the existence and function of the universe.  Your inner self, the part of paramatman is the source of your existence and function.

Disciple: I beg your pardon, master.  Show me the way to realise my Atman.

Master: Meditation is the key. Silence is the way.  To know it, become it.  You are at the surface of your inner self.   Move in to the centre.  You will find that there is infinite distance between you and your body.

A Dialogue on "Who is God?"

Disciple:  Oh, Master! I'm confused. Tell me where God is.

Master:  Tell me where He is not.

Disciple:  If He is everywhere, why I couldn't see Him?

Master: A sprout cannot bear fruits.  Wait. Know thyself, you will see God.

Disciple: Then, tell me Who I am?  Am I not Kuswant?

Master :  Your name is not you. That is a label pasted on you for identification.

Disciple : I am this very body, I think.

Master:  Your body is not you.  That is the house where you stay in for sometime.

Disciple: Am I my mind?

Master : No. That is your unreal self.

Disciple: Then, which is my real self?

Master : Consciousness is you.

Disciple: Can I know God with my consciousness?

Master: Consciousness knows everything.

Disciple: How can I get consciousness?

Master:  Silence which keeps your mind absent makes your consciousness present.

Disciple: Can you define God?

Master : God is nothing and everything.

Disciple: nothing and everything? How?

Master: Everything is a journey between two nothingness.  Everything comes from nothing and goes into nothing.

Disciple: I don't understand.

Master:  All sounds come from silence and disappear into silence.  All scenes come from darkness and disappear into darkness.  All forms come from empty space and disappear into it at the end. Origin and end are God, the nothingness.  And in between everything goes on, his drama.

Disciple: If God is nothingness, why should we worship him.

Master: Nothingness is always full of something.  An empty pot may look to have nothing.  But it is full of air.  Air may appear to have nothing but it is full of gases.  People worship God from whom everything and everybody came.  He is everywhere, within all of us. He everoperates countless suns and stars in the universe.

Disciple: Isn't God in the temple?

Master: He is not only in the temple.

Disciple: Is he with a form or formless?

Master: He is formless, bodyless, fatherless, motherless, birthless and deathless, mindless, beginningless, endless.  He is absolute darkness and silence.  But the opposite is also true.

Disciple: How?

Master: Ocean which is permanent is God and the waves which are temporary are also God.  Without form, he is permanent, the origin and source of all existence and functions. With form, he is temporary.  All appearances which are temporary are just his manifestations.  He is permanent as He is.  But He is temporary as His appearances, like you and me.

Disciple : what are the ways to realise God?

Master: Silence, truth, self realisation, love and consciousness are the ways.

Disciple: What is the use of knowing God?

Master: You remain undisturbed, whether you have joys or sorrows, failure or success, loss or gain.  You are at absolute bliss for ever.  Your non-stop awareness becomes a lighthouse for thousands of wandering ships.

Disciple: Will I reach God after my death?

Master : No.  You will have to be reborn until you are enlightened.

Why this Blog?

Life itself is mysterious and so many questions sometimes asked by us remain unanswered many times or neglected with vague understanding.  This blog is an effort to find answers or at least start research on these mysterious things of which few are given below:
1. Who is  God? Where is He? Why are there confusions in this case? How to see Him?
2. What is soul? What is aatma? What is life force? Are they all same or different?
3. What is death? Can we know our death in advance?  Can we  escape from death? Can I enter a dead body? Can I talk to a dead person? Where do dead people go? Can I return from the dead world after my death?
4. Can't I go back to past and witness the events? Can't I know now what will happen to me and to others in future?
5. How to read what other people think in their mind? How to control other's mind and make them to do what I want? Can I stop my mind from thinking as long as I like?
6. Can I fly in the sky like a bird? Can I disappear from any place and appear again? Can I do ashtama sidhigal (eight kinds of miracles) as sidhars did or as the miracles done by Christ or other saints in the bible?
7. What are all the mysterious places in the World? How Can I visit them?
8. What are all the mysterious and unknown arts in the world? How can I learn them?
9. What is previous birth and next birth?  Can I go back and see how I was in previous birth? Or Can I go ahead and see how my next birth will be?
10. What is clairvoyance or ESP power? Can I see, hear or talk to someone or something that is  or happens at a distant place? How can chakras in body or meditation or any other method can help that?

Many people including government and education systems have neglected the above questions.  It appears that these are childish or absurd, beyond human understanding.  Science accepts truth after test? Spirituality reveals truth by universal consciousness and yogic perceptions without verifiable evidences.  Is there no scientific or spiritual way to find authentic solutions for the above questions? The answer is this blog.
